Recruiting the Future: Our Visit to Lineman Training Centers
Wolf Line Construction is a company of highly-skilled specialists who are passionate about our work and proud to bridge the digital divide. Recently, our HR team hit the road to visit two renowned lineman training centers and connect with the next generation of linemen to share what makes Wolf Line such a great place to launch a career.
At North American Lineman Training Center (NALTC) in Tennessee, we were given a full tour of the campus and training facilities, hearing from dedicated instructors about the curriculum, the students, and the lineman industry. A highlight of the visit was witnessing NALTC’s in-house “rodeo”—a hands-on event preceding graduation that showcases the skills students have developed over the course of their training. The passion, teamwork, and grit displayed were very impressive.
Next, we continued our recruitment efforts at Southeast Lineman Training Center (SLTC) in Georgia, touring the corporate office and speaking with over 200 students about the realities and rewards of line work. While on site, we appreciated the opportunity to discuss Wolf Line’s unique culture: a family-oriented organization that prioritizes the safety and health of each Wolf Line employee above all. We support this value through our ongoing employee training and certifications.
We returned to the office energized and excited about our pipeline for new talent to augment our exceptionally skilled staff. With over 15 interviews scheduled with promising apprentice candidates, we look forward to welcoming new members to the Wolf Line family.
